NMUN•China was held in partnership with Northwestern Polytechnical University which celebrated its 70th anniversary in Xi’an. China also hosted the 2008 Olympics in August.

This ground-breaking conference will include student participants from around the world and provides a unique opportunity for college students to experience NMUN abroad. The conference was  held in English and was directed by expert NMUN staff.

Ancient Xi’an, the capital city for 13 dynasties, has several UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites including the Terra Cotta Warrior Army. The Xi’an area with a population of over 8 million is located in northwest China and attracts millions of visitors from all over the world.
