Student NPT Review Conference – March 18-21, 2010
The Student NPT Review Conference is the Osgood Center’s inaugural Arms Control Conference. Students will have the opportunity to simulate the 2010 NPT Review Conference two months before it convenes. In addition to Committee resolutions, there will be a Conference Final Statement written by a Drafting Committee of students selected at the conference. The Department of State’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation will make these documents available to the US Delegation to the 2010 Nonproliferation Treaty.

US-China Relations - July 5-15, 2010
The Osgood Center for International Studies, in conjunction with the Center for International Security and Strategy Studies will host a 10-day conference on Sino-American Relations in heart of Washington, DC. The conference will feature lectures by Osgood Center fellows and Chinese scholars on US-China Relations from prestigious universities from Beijing, Honk Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

International Business Conference – July 18-29, 2010
The International Business Conference (IBC) is a ten-day exploration of the international political economy. Participants will visit leading international institutions in Washington, DC such as the World Bank, the IMF, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the leading Congressional Committees on trade and international economics. They will address issues in international economics such as the international financial crisis, creeping protectionism, the rise of China and India, and the persistence of poverty in a globalized world.

Summer Symposium on Foreign Policy – August 1-12, 2010
A two-week course in August, during which students will meet with top level government officials, members of the press, experts from prestigious think tanks such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the American Enterprise Institute, and the Brookings Institution to discuss and debate contemporary foreign policy issues.

The Osgood Center is proud to announce two dynamic programs in January, 2010. The first is the International Leadership Conference (ILC). It features participation from students around the world. This year the keynote speaker will be Volkswagen’s CEO, Stefan Jacoby, who will speak to the ILC on January 6, 2010. Following his talk there will be a reception including the Osgood Center Board (http://osgoodcenter.org/board.htm), the US Special Trade Representative, Ambassador Ron Kirk, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Press Secretary, Kiki McClean, US International Trade Commissioner, Charlotte Lane, and leading lawyers, journalists and educators from around the US.
